I haven’t made any sets in a while. It’s nice to do these combinations of chef knife and paring knife. Of course all sorts of knives are useful in the kitchen but these two shapes do the lion’s share of daily tasks.
I chose a bookmatched combination for the handles on these, some beautiful rippled macaranga dyed Pink over black liners for a bit of contrast. Beautiful wood, visually but also in hand.
